What is proposed
The entry into force of the preparation of compliance reports concerning providers of travel service combinations will be brought forward, so that the provision enters into force as early as 1 November 2018 instead of 1 January 2019 as previously enacted.
What it means
The change will enable the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) to check without delay whether travel service companies have paid their tax, pension and insurance contributions for the purposes of registering travel organisers, reducing securities and removing operators from the register.
