Laki Geologian tutkimuskeskuksesta annetun lain muuttamisesta
Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti muutetaan Geologian tutkimuskeskuksesta annetun lain (167/2011) 3 §, ja lisätään lakiin uusi 3 a § seuraavasti:
3 §Tehtävät
Tutkimuskeskuksen tehtävänä on tehdä tutkimusta ja tuottaa asiantuntijapalveluita toimialallaan. Toiminta voi olla myös maksullista.
Tutkimuskeskus suorittaa lisäksi muut tutkimukseen ja innovaatiotoimintaan liittyvät tehtävät, jotka työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö sille tulosohjauksessa antaa.
Tutkimuskeskus voi huolehtia osasta sille määrättyjä kansainvälisiä tehtäviä tutkimuskeskuksen yhteyteen perustettavassa osakeyhtiössä.
Tutkimuskeskuksen tehtävistä säädetään tarkemmin valtioneuvoston asetuksella.
3 a §Geologian tutkimuskeskuksen yhteyteen perustettava yhtiö
Geologian tutkimuskeskuksen yhteyteen perustettava osakeyhtiö hallinnoi tutkimuskeskuksen kahdenvälisiä kansainvälisiä asiantuntijapalveluita.
Tutkimuskeskus voi sijoittaa omistamiaan aineettomia oikeuksia, laitteita ja muuta käyttöomaisuutta osakeyhtiöön.
Tutkimuskeskus voi tuottaa osakeyhtiölle hallinnollisia palveluja ja muita tukipalveluja markkinahintaista korvausta vastaan.
Työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö vastaa osakeyhtiön omistajaohjauksesta ja sen osakkeiden hallinnoinnista siten kuin valtion yhtiöomistuksesta ja omistajaohjauksesta annetun lain (1368/2007) 6 §:ssä säädetään.

Tämä laki tulee voimaan päivänä kuuta 20 .
