Laki sairausvakuutuslain 5 luvun 8 §:n muuttamisesta
Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti muutetaan sairausvakuutuslain (1224/2004) 5 luvun 8 §, sellaisena kuin se on laeissa 252/2015 ja 1319/2018, seuraavasti:

8 §Vuosiomavastuu ja oikeus lisäkorvaukseen
Jos saman kalenterivuoden aikana alkuomavastuun ja vakuutetulle tämän luvun mukaan korvatuista lääkkeistä, kliinisistä ravintovalmisteista sekä perusvoiteista korvaamatta jääneiden korvauksen perusteena olevien kustannusten yhteismäärä ylittää 534,75 euroa (vuosiomavastuu ), vakuutetulla on oikeus ylittävältä määrältä lisäkorvaukseen. Lisäkorvaus on 100 prosenttia 2,50 euron lääkekohtaisen omavastuuosuuden ylittävältä osalta.
Vuosiomavastuu sidotaan hintatason muutoksiin noudattaen, mitä kansaneläkeindeksistä annetussa laissa (456/2001) säädetään rahamäärien tarkistamisesta. Edellä 1 momentissa säädetty vuosiomavastuun rahamäärä vastaa sitä kansaneläkeindeksin pistelukua, jonka mukaan vuoden 2014 tammikuussa maksettujen kansaneläkkeiden suuruus on laskettu.
