Laki lainajyvästöistä ja siemenrahastoista annetun lain kumoamisesta
Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti säädetään:
1 §
Tällä lailla kumotaan lainajyvästöistä ja siemenrahastoista annettu laki (164/1934).
2 §
Lainajyvästöjen ja siemenrahastojen hoitokuntien tulee kahden vuoden kuluessa tämän lain voimaantulosta tehdä selvitys lainajyvästön tai siemenrahaston omaisuudesta, varoista ja veloista, luovuttaa omaisuus ja varat velkojen maksamisen jälkeen maataloutta edistävään toimintaan ja ilmoittaa toimenpiteitten loppuunsaattamisesta maa- ja metsätalousministeriölle.
3 §
Jos 2 §:ssä tarkoitettuja toimenpiteitä ei ole toteutettu säädetyssä määräajassa, siirtyvät lainajyvästöjen ja siemenrahastojen omaisuudet, varat ja velat kunnalle, jonka alueella lainajyvästö tai siemenrahasto sijaitsee. Lainajyvästöt ja siemenrahastot katsotaan lakanneiksi tästä ajankohdasta. Jos lainajyvästön tai siemenrahaston on perustanut manttaalikunta, omaisuus, varat ja velat siirtyvät kuitenkin sille.
Kunnan tulee käyttää tämän lain nojalla saamansa omaisuus ja varat maatalouden edistämiseen alueellaan. Kunta vastaa lainajyvästölle tai siemenrahastolle kuuluneista veloista ja muista sitoumuksista vain lainajyvästöltä tai siemenrahastolta sille siirtyneellä omaisuudella ja varallisuudella, jollei se ole sitoutunut laajempaan vastuuseen. Mitä edellä tässä momentissa säädetään, sovelletaan myös manttaalikuntaan.
4 §
Tämä laki tulee voimaan päivänä kuuta 20 .
