Laki työsuojelurahastolain 1 ja 2 §:n muuttamisesta
Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti muutetaan työsuojelurahastolain (407/1979) 1 ja 2 §, sellaisena kuin niistä on 1 § osaksi laissa 168/1988, seuraavasti:
1 §Työsuojelurahaston toiminta
Työtapaturma- ja ammattitautilain (459/2015) perusteella vakuutusvelvollisten työnantajien ja näiden palveluksessa olevien työntekijöiden etuja palvelevan työsuojelun edistämiseksi on Työsuojelurahasto. Rahaston tehtävänä on myöntää varoja työsuojelututkimukseen, työsuojelukoulutukseen, työsuojelutietouden keräämiseen ja työsuojelua koskevaan tiedottamiseen sekä työnantajien ja työntekijöiden välisten työelämän suhteiden edistämistä tarkoittavaan tutkimukseen, koulutukseen ja tiedotukseen.
Työsuojelurahaston tehtävänä on lisäksi tukea Työturvallisuuskeskus ry -nimisen yhdistyksen ylläpitämää Työturvallisuuskeskusta.
2 §Työsuojelurahaston varat
Varojen siirtämisestä Työsuojelurahaston käyttöön säädetään työtapaturma- ja ammattitautilain 233 §:ssä.

Tämä laki tulee voimaan päivänä kuuta 20 .
