- Social DemocratsIn favour
The Social Democrats supported the proposal as a good and necessary technical update to the treaty texts.
”Eduskunta hyväksyy verotuloja koskevan kaksinkertaisen verotuksen välttämiseksi ja veronkiertämisen estämiseksi Saksan kanssa tehdyn sopimuksen muuttamisesta marraskuussa 2019 tehdyn pöytäkirjan, elikkä siltä osin esitys on hyvä ja kannatettava.”
— Anneli Kiljunen - Centre PartyIn favour
The Centre Party considered the proposal an important and necessary update to prevent tax evasion and tax avoidance in line with international guidelines.
— Arto Pirttilahti - Finns PartyIn favour
The Finns Party considered tackling tax evasion and the shadow economy very important and asked the minister about future measures regarding the topic.
— Toimi Kankaanniemi - Christian DemocratsIn favour
The Christian Democrats considered the proposal uncontroversial and noted that regular updates to treaty texts are necessary.
