Extending transport sector coronavirus exemptions
The validity period of maritime qualifications and pilotage licences will be exceptionally extended so that vessel traffic and security of supply are not interrupted due to the coronavirus epidemic. At the same time, flexibilities concerning public transport notification periods and coronavirus preparedness in the transport sector will remain in force.

Postponing municipal elections to June 2021
The 2021 municipal elections would be postponed from April to June due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the advance voting period in Finland would be extended to two weeks.
