Repealing the obsolete land protection act
The Act on the Protection of Land Against Damage by Domestic Animals, dating from 1921, will be repealed as obsolete and unnecessary. Damage caused by domestic animals will directly be subject to the general Tort Liability Act.

Intensifying wild boar hunting
The use of fixed artificial light will be permitted when hunting wild boar and raccoon dogs at feeding sites, and wild boar can also be caught using enclosures. These measures will step up hunting in order to prevent the spread of African swine fever to Finland.
