Protection for craft and industrial products
An authority system will be established in Finland for the protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products, such as textiles, ceramics and jewellery. The system will allow manufacturers to protect the names of their regional products against misuse and imitation across the EU.

Improving online protection for protected names
The protection of names for protected agricultural products and foodstuffs will be extended to domain names. At the same time, the supervision and procedures for all protected name products will be brought together under the Food Act.
