Raising taxes on honorary titles
Taxes levied on honorary titles granted by the President of the Republic will be increased due to rising costs. At the same time, the list of public bodies eligible for the reduced tax rate will be updated to include wellbeing services counties, among others.

Clarifying background checks for honorary titles
Authorities processing honorary titles will receive an explicit right to check criminal record and fine register data as well as any suspected offences of a person proposed for an honorary title. The checks ensure the recipient's integrity before a decision is made.
