Separate act for lift regulation
Regulations governing lifts will be separated from the Electrical Safety Act into a distinct Lift Safety Act and aligned with an EU directive. At the same time, obligations concerning lift conformity, maintenance and periodic inspections will be clarified.

Reforming alcohol interlock regulation
Separate acts concerning alcohol interlocks will be replaced with a new, unified Act on Alcohol Interlocks and amendments to the Driving Licence Act. At the same time, arrangements for supervised driving rights will be eased by removing the obligation to periodically download alcohol interlock usage data.
