Church Act reform and streamlining administration
The legislation governing the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland will be comprehensively overhauled and the church's administration will be streamlined. The reform will enable electronic decision-making, among other things, and increase parishioners' opportunities to have an influence.

Establishing the National Courts Administration
An independent agency, the National Courts Administration, will be established in Finland to take over administrative and support tasks for the courts from the Ministry of Justice. The reform will strengthen the independence of the courts and make the functioning of the judiciary smoother.

Reforming government services' regional presence
The traditional central government regionalisation model will be abandoned and replaced by nationwide planning for government services and units. The Government will draw up a plan for each parliamentary term to steer the placement of government functions and the multichannel availability of services.

Consolidating enforcement into one national agency
The Office of the National Bailiff and 22 local enforcement offices will be merged into a single nationwide National Enforcement Authority. At the same time, enforcement will be divided into rapid basic enforcement and more demanding extensive enforcement to streamline the processing of cases.

More flexible land survey administration
Legislation concerning the National Land Survey of Finland will be simplified so that the agency can organise its operations and customer service points more independently than before.
