Reforming fund operations and supervision
New liquidity management tools will be introduced for mutual funds and alternative investment funds, and rules on granting loans will be clarified. At the same time, reporting obligations for fund management companies and fund managers, as well as the supervision of outsourcing, will be harmonised with EU regulation.

Comprehensive reform of mutual fund legislation
The act on mutual funds will be reformed and the administrative burden on fund management companies eased. The reform will introduce sub-fund structures to Finland and implement several EU fund regulations.
