Reforming protective equipment and cableway safety
Amendments required by EU regulations on safety requirements for personal protective equipment and cableways will be made to Finnish legislation. At the same time, product labelling, supervision and penal provisions will be clarified.

Approving protective and cableway inspection bodies
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health will continue to be able to approve and supervise inspection bodies that assess the safety of personal protective equipment and cableway installations. The act will be updated to align with directly applicable new European Union regulations.
