Reforming drone traffic and obstacle permits
Rules will be created in Finland for airspaces designated for unmanned aircraft, or drones, where operations require digital support services. At the same time, applying for flight obstacle permits for tall structures will be transferred entirely to Traficom (the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency) for processing.

Updating aviation rules and drone surveillance
Aviation legislation will be updated to align with European Union regulations, and the powers of authorities and airports will be clarified. Penalties will be introduced for safety infringements involving drones, or unmanned aircraft, and the detection of unauthorised drones at airports will be facilitated.
