Shortening international protection residence permits
The duration of residence permits granted on the basis of international protection will be shortened, and the conditions for revoking protection status will be tightened. The prerequisites for staying in the country and the need for protection among recipients of asylum or subsidiary protection will be assessed more frequently than before.

Reforming and standardising disability services
Services for persons with various disabilities will be brought together under a new act on disability services, basing access to services on individual need for assistance rather than a medical diagnosis. The reform will strengthen the self-determination of persons with disabilities and introduce new forms of support for daily life and participation.

Combining and reforming disability services
The Disability Services Act and the Act on Special Care for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities will be merged into a single framework, so that services will be granted based on individual need for assistance rather than a medical diagnosis.
