Reforming dangerous goods transport rules
The Act on the Transport of Dangerous Goods would be reformed to meet modern safety requirements, EU regulation and international agreements. Supervision, division of responsibilities and permit procedures would be clarified for road, rail, maritime and air transport.

The act governing pressure equipment will be reformed in Finland to align with European Union product regulation. The reform will clarify equipment safety requirements as well as the obligations of manufacturers and importers.
