Abolishing data centre electricity tax relief
Electricity tax relief for data centres will be abolished and the electricity used by data centres will be transferred to the general tax category. This will raise the tax on electricity used in data centres from 0.05 cents to 2.24 cents per kilowatt-hour.

Publishing data centre locations
Large data centres will be required to publish information on the region where they are located on their websites. At the same time, the Energy Authority will receive the right to supervise and inspect data centres.

Energy tax cuts and biogas excise duty
Electricity tax on heat pumps, electric boilers, the recycling industry and energy-efficient data centres will be reduced to a lower tax category. At the same time, an excise duty will be introduced on biogas used in transport, but its use for heating and small-scale production will remain tax-free.
