Expanding occupational safety enforcement powers
Occupational safety and health authorities will be given new tools to monitor the safety of work equipment online and the right to use data from the incomes register in monitoring working conditions. In addition, the authorities will be obliged to report suspected work-related human trafficking and chemical safety breaches to the police.

Easier financial support for rental housing
Financial support measures for rental housing entities owning state-subsidised housing will be eased and brought forward. Amendments to loan terms, grants and partial loan forgiveness can be granted even before an entity drifts into serious financial difficulties.

Introducing recycling rules for large ships
Legislation supplementing EU rules will be introduced in Finland to ensure the safe and environmentally sound dismantling of large ships. The acts define the authorities supervising ship recycling and the penalties to be imposed for breaches of the rules.
