Strengthening consumer protection in credit and e-commerce
The Consumer Protection Act will be tightened by bringing interest-free and fee-free credit under regulation as well and by making it easier to withdraw from online contracts. If a creditor neglects the obligation to assess an applicant's ability to pay, the consumer will not have to pay interest or fees on the loan.
