Unauthorised use of a decommissioned or unregistered vehicle will incur only an administrative additional tax instead of a fine. At the same time, automated enforcement of vehicle tax using cameras and licence plate recognition devices will be enabled.

Introducing recycling rules for large ships
Legislation supplementing EU rules will be introduced in Finland to ensure the safe and environmentally sound dismantling of large ships. The acts define the authorities supervising ship recycling and the penalties to be imposed for breaches of the rules.

Stricter penalties for environmental offences
More severe penalties can be imposed for the most serious nature conservation and environmental offences. A new offence of aggravated nature conservation offence will be added to the Criminal Code, carrying up to four years of imprisonment.

Approving the Kampala amendments
The proposal would approve the amendments to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court made at the Kampala Review Conference in 2010, which concern the crime of aggression and the definition of war crimes, as well as related amendments to the Criminal Code and the Coercive Measures Act.
