Connecting social services to Kanta services
Providers of social services will be obliged to join the national Kanta services, enabling client data to move electronically between different operators. At the same time, healthcare will discontinue the broad basic consent requested from patients, and the disclosure of data will be based directly on the law, which clients can restrict through refusals if they wish.

Reforming electronic client data processing
The processing of client data in health and social services will be reformed, and Kanta services will be expanded to cover social services as well. In healthcare, broad patient consent will be abandoned, and citizens will be given the opportunity to save their own wellbeing data in the national system.
