Clarifying suspension of artist grants
Recipients of a state artist grant will be able to suspend or postpone their grant period under conditions laid down in the act, for instance due to paid employment. At the same time, awarding artist grants for studies will be abolished.

Transfer of artist pensions to Taike
Supplementary artist pensions will be governed by an act instead of a previous government decision. At the same time, the granting of pensions will be transferred from the Ministry of Education and Culture to the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
