    Finland will introduce a new system of guarantees of origin for energy, expanding from electricity to also cover gas, hydrogen, as well as heating and cooling. In addition to renewable energy, guarantees of origin will also be granted for nuclear power and waste heat and cold.

    State guarantee for an IMF loan

    The Finnish State will grant the Bank of Finland a state guarantee of up to 3.76 billion euros as security for a loan to be provided to the International Monetary Fund. The arrangement replaces an earlier corresponding guarantee and secures the Fund's crisis financing capacity.
