Banning unfair food trading practices
Unfair trading practices that weaken producers and small sellers, such as long payment terms and short-notice cancellations of orders, will be prohibited in the food supply chain. Compliance with the prohibitions will be supervised by the Food Market Ombudsman, and penalty payments may be imposed for infringements.

Reforming and streamlining trade mark protection
The procedures for applying for, protecting and revoking trade marks will be reformed to make them more flexible and clearer. Trade marks will also be registerable as a mere sound file, for example, without any requirement for a graphical representation.
