Protection for craft and industrial products
An authority system will be established in Finland for the protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products, such as textiles, ceramics and jewellery. The system will allow manufacturers to protect the names of their regional products against misuse and imitation across the EU.

Emissions trading compensation for industry
Electricity-intensive industry could receive state support for higher electricity costs driven up by emissions trading. The aim of the aid is to maintain industrial competitiveness and prevent production from relocating outside the EU.
