Liability to pay unemployment insurance contributions will be regulated independently without a link to occupational accident insurance. At the same time, the definition of an entrepreneur in the Unemployment Security Act will be clarified to correspond to concepts in pension legislation.

Increasing unemployment insurance contributions for 2016
Unemployment insurance contributions for employees and employers will be increased from the beginning of 2016. The increase will cover the deficit of the Unemployment Insurance Fund and secure the financing of unemployment benefits.
