Reforming the start-up permit process

The residence permit procedure for foreign start-up entrepreneurs will be integrated into an application subject to a fee, and Business Finland will assess business activities directly in the immigration administration's information system. Conventional foreign entrepreneurs will no longer be required to register a company in Finland before their first residence permit is granted.
