Laki Kansaneläkelaitoksesta annetun lain muuttamisesta
Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti muutetaan Kansaneläkelaitoksesta annetun lain (731/2001) 2 §:n 1 momentti, 10 § ja 12 d §:n 1 momentti, sellaisina kuin niistä ovat 10 § laissa 24/2014 ja 12 d §:n 1 momentti laissa 987/2008, sekä lisätään lain 20 a §:ään, sellaisena kuin se on laissa 1312/2003, uusi 2 momentti seuraavasti:

2 §Tehtävät
Kansaneläkelaitoksen sosiaaliturvaa koskevista tehtävistä ja sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon tiedonhallintapalveluja koskevista tehtävistä säädetään eri laeissa. Kansaneläkelaitokselle voidaan antaa lailla myös muita tehtäviä.
10 §Kansaneläkelaitoksen organisaatio
Kansaneläkelaitoksen toimialueena on koko maa. Kansaneläkelaitoksen työjärjestyksessä annetaan tarkemmat määräykset Kansaneläkelaitoksen organisaatiosta, yksiköistä, tehtävistä ja niiden järjestämisestä.
12 d §Sosiaaliturvan yleisrahasto
Sosiaaliturvan yleisrahastosta maksetaan muut kuin 12 b ja 12 c §:ssä tarkoitetut Kansaneläkelaitoksen toimeenpantaviksi säädetyt etuudet sekä niiden toimeenpanosta Kansaneläkelaitokselle aiheutuvat toimintakulut. Lisäksi sosiaaliturvan yleisrahastosta maksetaan korkeakouluopiskelijoiden opiskeluterveydenhuollosta annetun lain (695/2019) 22 §:n mukaiset korvaukset Ylioppilaiden terveydenhoitosäätiölle opiskeluterveydenhuollon palvelujen tuottamisesta aiheutuvista kustannuksista.
20 a §Päätöksen tiedoksianto
Sen lisäksi, mitä muussa laissa säädetään, päätös voidaan asianosaisen suostumuksella antaa tiedoksi sähköisenä viestinä. Päätös katsotaan annetun tiedoksi seitsemäntenä päivänä viestin lähettämisestä, jollei muuta näytetä.

Tämä laki tukee voimaan päivänä kuuta 2021.
