Clarifying vocational education regulation and funding
Withdrawals of the right to study in vocational education and training and education provider licences can be targeted at specific competence areas rather than an entire qualification. Extending student welfare in vocational education
All students completing an initial vocational qualification and those in preparatory education will be entitled to school psychologist and school social worker services regardless of their mode of study. The change enters into force on 1 January 2018.

A national data repository and online service will be created in Finland, allowing citizens and authorities to see completed studies in basic education, general upper secondary education and vocational education and training in one place.
