Easing firearms regulations and storage requirements
Storage requirements for deactivated firearms and antique black powder firearms will be eased, meaning they will no longer need to be stored as strictly as operational firearms. In addition, reporting practices for firearms businesses will be clarified and provisions on the revocation of permits will be harmonised with the EU directive.

More flexible presentation of deactivated firearms
Rules on presenting permanently deactivated firearms and firearm components to the police will be made more flexible. A deactivated firearm can be inspected at any police department or at the National Police Board, in addition to the police department of the owner's home municipality.
