Savings of 134 million euros will be targeted at medicine reimbursements by increasing price competition between medicines and reducing medicine wastage. At the same time, the reimbursement rate for diabetes medicines other than insulin will be reduced, and the quantity of expensive medicines reimbursed at one time will be decreased.
