Limited liability companies and partnerships owned by limited liability companies will have to prepare and submit their financial statements to the Trade Register in digital format. The reform will improve the availability, quality and comparability of corporate financial data.

Reforming driving licence acquisition
Obtaining a driving licence will become more flexible, and mandatory instruction requirements will be reduced. The multi-phase system for obtaining a passenger car driving licence will be abolished, and teaching under a driving instruction permit will be made easier.

Easing support for rural broadband
Conditions for granting public support for the construction of high-speed broadband networks in sparsely populated areas will be eased and the areas eligible for support will be expanded. The objective is to speed up the construction of fibre-optic connections for residents and businesses in remote areas.

Digitalising ship logbooks and incident reporting
Ships will be able to switch to keeping logbooks in electronic form, and outdated formalities, such as sealing logbooks, will be abolished. In addition, it will become mandatory to report ship incidents and accidents directly to the authorities in order to improve maritime safety.

Centralising business service client data
Client data for public business services will be pooled into a single electronic system from which different actors can use it directly. This will streamline services and reduce the need for businesses to provide the same information multiple times.

Licensing regulation for road transport is dismantled, and taxi licence quotas and maximum fares are abolished. Travel and ticket data for mobility services are opened up to enable interoperable service chains.

Streamlining vehicle registration and driving licences
Electronic vehicle registration will be made easier by allowing transactions on behalf of another person under authorisation, and passport photographs already held in the police register can be used for driving licences. At the same time, information exchange between authorities will be enhanced, and the separate non-disclosure for personal safety in the vehicle register will be abolished.
