Index freezes and child benefit increases
Annual index increases to several social security benefits will not be made in 2024–2027. At the same time, child benefit will be increased for families with multiple children, single parents, and children under three years of age.

Capping maximum housing allowance expenses
A separate ceiling will be introduced under the general housing allowance for housing costs in small dwellings and shared housing. In addition, the maximum housing costs covered by housing allowance will be linked to the cost-of-living index instead of the rent index, and index increases will be frozen for 2018.
