Reforming rescue and oil spill response
Responsibilities for rescue services would be aligned with the regional government reform, and response to marine oil and chemical spills would be transferred to the leadership of the Finnish Border Guard. At the same time, obligations to build civil defence shelters would be eased and rescue service training would be centralised at the Emergency Services Academy.

Approving treaty against forced labour
Finland will approve the International Labour Organization (ILO) protocol to strengthen action against forced labour and related human trafficking. In addition, the protocol will improve the protection of victims and their right to remedies.
