Significantly stricter penalties for firearms offences
Penalties for firearms offences and the possession of bladed weapons would be tightened substantially, and carrying an unlicensed firearm in a public place would generally result in an unconditional prison sentence. In addition, transferring or handling a firearm for the purpose of committing a serious offence would be criminalised as a separate offence.

The tax deduction for commuting expenses between home and work will be temporarily increased for 2022 due to rising fuel prices. The change applies particularly to employees travelling by private car or company car with a partial benefit.
