    Reforming farm sustainability data collection

    The Natural Resources Institute Finland will begin collecting data under the EU Farm Sustainability Data Network from voluntarily participating farms. At the same time, the agency's administrative structure will be reformed and game statistics will be added to its statutory duties.

    Extending forest damage compensation

    The state may continue to compensate landowners for costs incurred in combating extensive forest damage and for tree growth losses until the end of 2027. In addition, exemptions from root rot control during felling can be made in exceptional situations, such as during shortages of control agents.

    Reforming feed control and export duties

    Feed legislation will be brought into line with the European Union's Official Controls Regulation and national agency reforms. An official duty to support feed exports will be laid down in law for the Finnish Food Authority, and the protection of persons reporting infringements of regulations will be strengthened.
