Updating animal disease compensation and restrictions
The Animal Diseases Act will be updated to comply with the EU's new state aid rules regarding compensation paid for animal diseases. The imposition of restriction zones to prevent the spread of disease will also be clarified, and operations will be made easier for laboratories researching animal diseases.

R&D tax deduction for companies
Companies and agricultural operators would receive an additional tax deduction for research and development work purchased from research organisations. The new deduction could be used for the tax years 2021–2025.
