The ban on telemarketing mobile subscriptions to new customers will become permanent. At the same time, processing identification data from wireless networks for purposes such as tracking customer flows or drones will be permanently permitted, provided that individuals cannot be identified.

Mandatory gambling identification and payment blocking
Mandatory identification will be introduced for all Veikkaus gambling games, and payments transferred to unauthorised foreign gambling websites will begin to be blocked. Illegal marketing of gambling will be tackled with new fines and administrative penalty payments.

Extending mobile subscription telemarketing ban
The telemarketing ban on mobile subscriptions would be extended by three years until summer 2024. At the same time, provisions allowing the processing of anonymised traffic data from radio communications in piloting and development activities would be extended.
