Tightening requirements for citizenship
The conditions for obtaining Finnish citizenship will be tightened and the grounds for loss of citizenship expanded. Obtaining citizenship will require, among other things, independent means of support and a longer period of good conduct following offences.

Clarifying accident compensation for farmers
Amendments will be made to occupational accident and occupational disease coverage for farmers and grant recipients. Compensation for loss of earnings will be divided between the entrepreneur and an employer who paid sick pay, preventing the entrepreneur from being left entirely without compensation.

Restoring secondary status of patient injury compensation
Compensation for loss of earnings paid for patient injury will become secondary in relation to earnings-related pensions. The change clarifies the payment of compensation to the injured party and reduces bureaucracy between insurance institutions.

Loss of citizenship for serious offences
A person may lose Finnish citizenship if they commit a serious offence involving treason, high treason or terrorism directed against Finland. Deprivation of citizenship applies only to persons who also hold the citizenship of another state.

Reforming and streamlining trade mark protection
The procedures for applying for, protecting and revoking trade marks will be reformed to make them more flexible and clearer. Trade marks will also be registerable as a mere sound file, for example, without any requirement for a graphical representation.
