Phasing out the pension pipeline
Additional days of unemployment security for older workers, the so-called pension pipeline, will be phased out gradually. At the same time, a new transition security package consisting of financial compensation and training will be created for persons aged 55 and over who are made redundant on financial or production-related grounds.

Improving change security and occupational healthcare
Employees dismissed on production-related or financial grounds will be guaranteed the right to employer-funded coaching and six months of occupational health care. The reform applies to organisations with at least 30 employees and individuals who have been employed for at least five years.
