Sharing atomic defence information with NATO
Finland will accede to the ATOMAL agreement between NATO member states, which enables the sharing and receipt of classified atomic defence information. The agreement will help Finland prepare better for nuclear threats and participate fully in NATO's collective defence planning.

Creating a police reserve for disruptions
A volunteer police reserve will be established in Finland to assist the police during major disruptions and exceptional situations. Reservists may be called up to fixed-term public-service employment by a decision of the Government to support police operations.

Reforming Nordic defence materiel cooperation
Finland will adopt a revised agreement on defence materiel cooperation with Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The reform creates a framework for joint procurement between the countries and deepens cooperation between authorities and the defence industry.
