Harmonising Kela benefit funding payments
Payment transactions between the state and Kela will be clarified and harmonised regarding benefits paid from the National Pension Fund. The change is administrative and will not affect the benefits received by citizens or their payment dates.

Raising veteran benefits
Veteran benefits will be increased by approximately 1.2 per cent from April 2019. The increase compensates for the freezing of the national pension index.
