Reducing fuel life cycle emissions
Fuel suppliers must reduce the life cycle emissions of the fuels they sell by at least 6 per cent in 2020. In addition, fuel emissions data must be reported annually to the Energy Authority.

Improving compensation for ship passengers
Finland will accede to an international convention on passenger ship liability and update the Maritime Code. Compensation protection and rights for passengers in cases of personal injury and luggage damage will also be improved in domestic waterborne transport.
