The state may grant loans without a binding maturity date to majority state-owned companies and associated companies if Parliament has authorised this in the state budget. The reform strengthens companies' financial positions during economic difficulties.

Tightening price regulation of consumer credit
Strict caps will be set on the interest rates and additional costs of consumer credit to curb debt problems. Under the reform, the interest rate on consumer credit may not exceed 30 per cent and other costs may not exceed 150 euros per year.

Reforming and expanding traveller protection
The new act will replace the Package Travel Act and extend travellers' rights to cover combinations of travel services assembled online and separately. At the same time, the rules on cancelling trips, limits on price increases, and compensation in cases of non-conformity will be clarified.
