Reimbursing rent for disabled war veterans
Disabled war veterans will be reimbursed for rent charged for housing services if free institutional care is not available in their own area. At the same time, the advance compensation paid to wellbeing services counties for services will be paid once a year instead of in monthly instalments.

Expanding free outpatient services for veterans
Persons disabled as a result of the 1939–1945 wars will receive health and social services outpatient care free of charge with a degree of disability of just 10 per cent. The change will make it easier for elderly disabled war veterans to live at home both in Finland and in Sweden.
