Raising the share savings account limit
Deposits of up to 100,000 euros will be permitted in a share savings account instead of the previous 50,000 euros. As a result of the change, investors will be able to invest larger amounts without immediate taxation of returns.

Increasing payment-free months in distraint

Introducing cross-border bank account preservation
Creditors will be able to freeze a debtor's bank account funds in another EU member state more easily and quickly to secure their claims. In Finland, the issuing of preservation orders will be centralised at Helsinki District Court, and enforcement will be handled by the enforcement authority.

Automatic exchange of financial tax information
Finland will introduce EU-wide automatic exchange of tax information on financial accounts. Banks and other financial institutions will be required to identify and report the account details of their customers resident in other member states to the tax authorities.
