Introducing the COVID-19 pass
Restaurants and event organisers can introduce a COVID-19 certificate as an alternative to restrictions imposed by the authorities. At the same time, the requirement for health certificates and entry testing for people arriving in Finland will be extended until the end of 2021.

VAT on virtual events and art
Events organised via live stream and virtually will be taxed in the purchaser's home country, and the same reduced tax rates will be confirmed for them as for physical events. In addition, the simultaneous application of the reduced tax rate and the profit margin scheme will be prevented in the trade in works of art and antiques.

A new round of business cost support is organised for companies that suffered from the coronavirus pandemic and official restrictions. The support compensates for inflexible costs and wage expenses and prevents bankruptcies.
