Cutting integration compensation and easing obligations
The state will cut compensation paid to municipalities and wellbeing services counties for promoting integration and reduce their related administrative obligations. At the same time, special state reimbursements for immigrants' social assistance will be abolished or their duration shortened.

Strengthening Border Guard staffing and preparedness
The Finnish Border Guard will be able to fill certain civilian posts without a public application procedure and make more flexible use of cadet students to assist during disruptions. The amendments protect official operations from intelligence gathering and improve responsiveness to various security threats.

Updating legislative references to Business Finland
Six different acts will be updated to replace Tekes and Finpro with the names of the new Business Finland entity. At the same time, Business Finland Oy will be granted the right to receive information necessary for carrying out its duties.
