The Finnish Trade Register will be connected to a European network through which company data is exchanged directly between authorities in EU countries. If a foreign company ceases to exist in its home country, its branch in Finland will at the same time be removed from the register.

Finnish banks and other financial institutions would be required to determine the tax residence of their customers and report their account details to the Finnish Tax Administration. Updating EU traffic offence data exchange
